About Me
A northwest native, and Bellingham resident for over 10 years, I am a designer and artist with a love for imagery and form. After completing a BA in Community Building through the Expressive Arts at Western Washington University, Fairhaven College in 2001, I spent a few years working in the non-profit sector, traveling and growing a jewelry making hobby into a successful business. You can find me, and my jewelry at the Bellingham Farmers Market most Saturdays and Wednesdays under the name Stone Soup Designs.
Since I am blessed to live in such an engaged and committed community, I participate in lots of committees and community-building events. As an artist and business owner I am a member of Sustainable Connections, Allied Arts of Whatcom County, and American Institute for Graphic Arts (AIGA). I am interested in sustainability and social equality, particularly in how innovative design can impact positive change for society and the environment.
When I'm not glued to my studio chair you can find me playing guitar in my backyard, biking the inter-urban trail, cooking and eating with friends or enjoying the vibrant local arts, music and theatre scene. I live in a house with my husband and a brown tabby.
I love creative collaboration and working with people to find the best solution to a problem. Initial consultation is free and includes a free estimate. If you have a project you'd like to tackle together contact me at:
